Well, I was just wondering how and why you signed up to SO? And also, how long ago did you register? Me, well I registered last summer. I don't even remember exactly how and why I did! :lol: I just came to my computer one day, saw the address to SO in my address bar, and wanted to see who has been to this site. Well, I noticed that I signed up, and wanted to figure out why! Well, I noticed that they had a FOL board, and remembered watching this show in the fall of 2000, so I decided to post. I really didn't become a regular poster until like November of 2001! What are your own stories of SO?

I remember being here around December 2000.I don't remember the month I came here. It was late. I found it through a search engine. I was looking for info on Nancy McKeon. I found it! But I kept on going until I eventually found this site. It looked like it could hold more information than I could possibly look into in one night; so I bookmarked it. So here I am! I registered in April.

OK it's kinda long. OK, so I was obsessed w/ GI and I found the GI main website and I printed a pic from it and my cuz said "Why do you go to a site called Sitcoms Online?" Well I didn't know that so I typed it in one day and found the boards! LOL isn't that jus marvolus.

I got use to watch the show every single night when it was on N@N , but I wasn't obsessed...then I went to look up some info on it on the web, like who the actresses were and stuff, and up came this site...been here ever since :)

July 4th, and I found it from a search for sitcoms

I was at the Lifetime TD Fan Fic board and Dana was all like "Yea read my fic at Sitcoms Online" so i did and here I am.

My friend told me about a contest for FOL eps on the FOL board so I registered hoping to win a tape. I didnt though. Bummer lol. And then I liked reading all the FOL stuff so I stayed. This was in May 2001.

I just kind of like, found it -- and haven't been the same since. What's this thing called a "life"? I don't think I've had one since December 21, 2000, or whenever I registered...:D

I sent the story that I wrote about Dana Plato to the memorial site. Of course Todd Fuller is the creator of that site. We wrote back and forth a few times and he told me that I should post about the story on the Diff'rent Strokes sitcom board. That was August of 2001. It was a month or more after that before I checked out the chit chat board. I had no idea this kind of sitcom mania existed. The give and take on this board has been an unexpected pleasure And, once in a while, because confrontation or discussion tends draw me in, it's been...sporting.

I started getting intrested in Diff'rent Strokes and I wanted to find out more about the show. In the search engine I got http://www.sitcomsonline.com/diffrentstrokes.html

I came on January 4, 2001. I answered some question on the DVD board. I wasn't going to register, but it wouldn't let me post as a guest for some reason, so I joined. Now I'm very glad I did! :D

I was going to all these different websites about Hans Conried and came across this Mr. Belvedere site...and there was a link to the boards there. So I came to Sitcoms online, and have been here ever since! :)

I first registered on April 22, 2001 on my old user name, WildChildJinny. But then I changed names to Teddys_Gurl on October 22, 2001.

As for finding these boards? Hmm..... I think I did a search for "The Facts of Life" 'cuz I was hooked on that show and then the SitcomsOnline site for FOL was on the search results so I went there and then saw the link for the message boards, saw that there was a The Division Board as well, thought that was cool and decided to join. LOL! So, I guess that's my story. Hehe!

I was searching for Facts of Life webpages. I don't remember when I registered, but then, that's why there's a "date registered on" thing under my screen name!

Well, I have always loved sitcoms. But for me, it wasn't until Nick@Nite started to air the Revenge of the 80's (you know, when they were good). Then after seening some of my favorite show like Diff'rent Strokes, Silver Spoons, etc. that I haven't seen in a long time, that's when I searched the web to find any websites, messageboards about these shows. And luckily I came across this rad site. After that, I just got hooked! :D

I wanted to vote for Facts of Life on Nick-at-nite's "Make your own Sundays" so I got online to do that. Then I decided to see what other TV-related sites there were, so I did a search for Facts of Life and found this site. These were actually the first message boards I ever posted at. I'm really glad I did because this is a great site.

Well...I was obsessed wit FOL and I began reading fan fics. I went to Ryan's site and saw a link to Sitcoms Online...and I came here!! Yea...I read like all of the FOL fan fics...and there were all these abandoned ones that I wanted peeps to finish...so I registered.

I discovered it because my MOm sent me a Family Ties site that had a link to the FT message board on here. :)
