Mar 27, 2014
James Van Der Beek joined EW’s Dalton Ross for EW Morning Live on Entertainment Weekly Radio to talk his new CBS sitcom "Friends with Better Lives" premiering on Monday.
Van Der Beek spoke highly of his former ABC sitcom "Don’t Trust the B— in Apt. 23" after Ross mentioned that he loved it.
"I guess that show is like kid that you really love who is getting bullied in the playground. We loved making it and I loved the people involved with it. I love it when people tell me that they loved that show.
What's great today is that it now has this 2nd life on Netflix. More people are discovering it, I'm getting tweets about it everyday. When it was announced that ABC canceled it I sent out a tweet saying, 'We are no longer a canceled show; we are now 26 episodes of awesome.'"
