In a late season 2 episode from 1981, the one where Edna's son comes to visit, she talks to him about how life plans change, and how last year she was working as the Drummond's housekeeper, and says something to the effect of "5 years from now, who knows?" 5 years later, she would leave the series as her character went to Africa with her new husband. Eerie foreshadowing?

I always daydreamt that Mrs. Garrett and her husband would run into Mr. Belvedere and his wife while they were all in Africa. :)
