This is weird, I just recently noticed after many years of watching that the coffee cups used in My 3 Sons, Donna Reed Show, Hazel, Bewitched and some other Columbia type shows are all the same. They are white with a wide black band at the top. I hope they sterilized them as they transferred from one TV program to another. ;)

This is quite common. As another example, I have noticed the same magazine covers and cereal boxes used within Paramount studios in their tv shows for decades.

I don't know if you're referring to coffee cups or coffee mugs, but as a child in the 1950s and early 1960s, I remember coffee mugs that were white with a middle-size black band at the top. I guess they looked like "typical middle-class American" coffee cups, so they appeared on TV dining tables as they did on real-life dining tables...
...now Bub or Uncle Charley could have washed the dishes, then passed them on to Donna Stone (who, as you remember, kept the perfect house!)...and Hazel could have run them through her dishwasher before passing them on to Samantha--who just zapped them clean with a twitch of her nose!

These are cups with saucers. I think in the old days (early '60's) cups and saucers were much more commonplace than mugs). At least that's my memory, it was in the '70's that mugs began to be used more and more.
