I stumbled upon several videos online from a show called "Enquetes Extraordinaire". Not sure if it's French or French Canadian. Anyway, it appears some UM segments are being "sold" to this show and aired. At first I just thought it was a the French version of UM (and maybe it is?) but now I don't think so because many of the segments are about cases I didn't think UM aired. However, some of them are, so C&M must have struck up some sort of a deal. I know Amy Billig, Morgan Nick, Su Taraskieciwz, Whitey Bulger and the Ice Man are all the exact same UM segments, except overdubbed in French with obviously a different host. Apparently the show ran in 2010. So, for anyone who speaks French or anyone curious, check it out!

I've come across that before. They show the UM footage from the UM cases and you can hear the original dialogue in english with a guy narrating over it in french.

I don't know if CM sold rights to that show if they ripped off the footage but they probably bought it. Typical CM. Sell the rights to the show to some other country but won't do a darn thing for the fan base in the english speaking countries. Why aren't they going after those ppl and shutting them down the way they went after UM fans? Maybe they sold the rights completely and legally can't get the content taken down? I dunno....

I think Enquetes Extraordinaire have episodes of other cases that were never on UM, but I'm not sure if it's their own original content or if the rights to that's footage from other shows that they purchased.

I don't speak french, and oddly, watching one of those UM segments with all the narration in a language I don't understand is still not as annoying as the Farina reboot. lol
