But I found out it's on the soundtrack of a Kids Movie so I guess that's why it's so cheesy. I thought Pharrell was coming out the closet:lol:

I don't know Solomon. I think it's a catchy little tune. Lou just said he can think of about 50 songs that are dumber than that, lol.

I was very concerned that a grown man made a song like that but now that I know its on a kids movie soundtrack he gets a pass

His voice reminds me of a fresh, young Smokey Robinson.
He has plenty of energy and range in his singing and although
this is the only song I have every heard from him, he sure shows
a lot of pop music potential.

If you think he sounds like smokey robinson you need to be drug tested

He wishes!
Smokey Robinson could sing Happy Birthday and women would be throwing their panties on the floor!

A woman in High Point, N.C. died in a car crash yesterday after her car veered onto the median and into an oncoming truck. Investigators claim that the crash was a result of her posting about Pharrell's "Happy" to her Facebook page.

At 8:33, Courtney Ann Sanford shared on her Facebook:

"The Happy Song makes me so HAPPY."

At 8:34, the High Point Police Department was called with a report of the crash. Further investigation into Sanford's online activity revealed she was also taking frequent selfies as she drove down the highway.

Sanford was letting her friends know how happy she was at that moment, and sadly that moment was one of her last.

The driver in the truck Sanford hit was not injured. But the sentence above will live on forever.

No, driving and texting caused her death. And I love Happy. Right now Happy and Hezekiah Walker's Every Praise are the songs that lift me up.

I can't believe that posting something so meaningless was more important than keeping her eyes on the road. The incident happened about 20 miles from my home. :(

People need to realize when they are driving, social media should wait, otherwise, we wouldn't be hearing these sad stories.

As for the song, I like it. It's positive and upbeat without being obnoxious. I have a feeling TV Fact Fan would enjoy it even more if Savannah Guthrie or Natalie Morales or one of his TV women were singing it. :D
