ponytail 03-18-2014, 06:07 AM No I don't. I use to, but it's been a few years. I do watch Joel Osteen every Sunday. I find his message very uplifting. At the church I went to, I hope this doesn't sound bad, it was boring.
DJM77 03-18-2014, 06:22 AM Yes, I try to go to church every week.
zypherix 03-18-2014, 09:49 AM Never been a religious person, so nope. In fact like 90% of the swedish population never go to any church :)
Vahan 03-18-2014, 09:50 AM No, but I do believe in God. Is that good enough for me?
I go to a WELS Lutheran church. I don't always get up for church though, it drives my mother nuts. We are going to a woman retreat later this month. Mahtob Mahmoody the daughter of the book Not Without My Daughter will be the main speaker so that should be really good. I'm excited.
Marvo301 03-18-2014, 01:44 PM Yes. I go to church every Sunday.
retrofan05 03-18-2014, 03:22 PM No, I consider myself more of a spiritual person. I find God in the beauty of nature.
treky 03-19-2014, 12:50 AM I go on Christmas and Easter and on special occasions, like my fathers funeral last month.
MacLeaper 03-19-2014, 01:49 PM Yes, I go to church every Sunday as a rule.
(Though of course, there are times when I've missed due to being sick or once when I overslept and wound up missing the morning service and going to evening service instead. I felt pretty bad about that, but asked for forgiveness- and Jesus still loves me- so we're good now.:) That's the good deal with our relationship- even before I asked Him to be my Lord and Savior and definitely after- He keeps bailing me out of trouble so many times over and keeps me out of trouble when I listen to His Spirit.:) )
Generally, I am at church (my own or perhaps another when visiting family and friends) for morning service and evening service if it's being offered. (My church tends to do special events every so often on Sunday evenings and I'll generally go to those when I can- but I definitely make a point to go to the Sunday morning worship service if nothing else.)
For those who haven't been to church in a while or maybe ever, I definitely encourage you to visit one in the area and of course, to keep seeking God because He's seeking you with Love- but of course, it's everyone's own personal choice and I respect that.:)
If you do decide to visit a church, here's a video that I thought was funny that might encourage you in that.

I go to a local Episcopal Church (Church of England). I normally go, but not every single Sunday. I believe what's in your heart is more important than a perfect attendance record.
MrCleveland 03-19-2014, 03:27 PM Yes.
I work there as well...I'm a janitor there.
Coffeecup 03-21-2014, 11:31 AM The only time I am in a church is when someone dies. You sure get people to attend your service if you are a church goer. Who ever takes the reins of my trip to the other world will have to find someone. I just can't get into church. The songs are so slow sounding and it seems every song has 4 verses. ARound here the congregations have about 30 people and all 30 are over the age of 70.

Regulus 03-26-2014, 09:33 PM No I don't. I use to, but it's been a few years. I do watch Joel Osteen every Sunday. I find his message very uplifting. At the church I went to, I hope this doesn't sound bad, it was boring.
In July, 2011 I went to Texas on my annual Amusement Park Hopping trip. I was in Houston for the Weekend, and I had a hankering to attend a session at Joel Osteen's church, so on Sunday I attended a session at Lakewood for the fun of it. After the service was over I "Relieved" their Gift Shop of a Christmas Tree Ornament. :santa2: Having scratched that itch I went about on my merry old way. :D
PS Before that day was over I managed to scratch yet ANOTHER itch The Hometown of an old friend!  :rotflmao: :brent
I do go to church each Sunday, First Baptist Church of Daytona.

Hot Lips 05-05-2014, 12:52 PM No, I haven't been to church since I was little.
Coffeecup 05-05-2014, 04:01 PM A church down the street 1/4 of mile from where I live, I heard is up for sale. Condos may come. There are about 8 churches in the area and the parishners are thinning out. They pull in anywhere from 15 to 40 parishners and decades ago the pews were packed. With stores open on Sundays, women and men working, churches are dying. OH no I don't to church. The sessions if are a little dry for me.
Sweathog 05-07-2014, 05:05 AM Yes I try to make Mass each Sunday.
James28 06-02-2014, 05:22 PM I don't attend church since I have pretty much avoided religion. Too controversial, so many different beliefs, etc..
PlayOn 06-16-2014, 09:00 PM I do as often as I can. Second Baptist represent!! ;)
To those who say "it's too dry/boring", why don't you try a different church?

For some time as a teenager I was made to go, so I guess that spoiled me.

Of course!
I go almost every Sunday. I may take a day off this September. I could use it.
There's nothing wrong taking one Sunday off from church. Sometimes a church can be a deep conversation with someone about God.
