View Full Version : This is the definition of a person who is only working for a check
TVFactFan 03-17-2014, 09:23 PM I had a issue with my phone so I went to the T-mobile store so I could get assistance
The first girl I gave the phone to didn't know how to solve the issue and didn't even see if someone else could help me.
The second girl I gave the phone too didn't know the answer and was like...You may need a new phone
Then all of a sudden the guy who I was looking appears out of nowhere and I starting smiling like a teenage girl because he is the master of solving problems. I gave him the phone and he solved the problem in 2 mins and those two girls seemed to disappear because they were embarrassed LOL
My only issue is if you don't know the answer try and see if someone else does. Did the girl think I was going to just walk out the store if I wasn't satisfied? Another example of sh*tty customer service
cleverfun3000 03-17-2014, 09:54 PM You wanna see rotten customer service? Come to New York City. Here the lines for everything is so long, by the time you get to actually see the clerk, she is fed up and in a nasty unholy intolerable mood. I have witnessed tourists being cursed at and reduced to tears because they were not used to being dealt with by an iron fist. Don't bother complaining to the manager. He will nod his head in agreement to 'whatever you say' and pay you lip service as hustles you out the store with a tin grin. You got off easy.
ThomasE 03-17-2014, 11:41 PM Now, here in New York City, there are some decent people that give you good Customer Service. However, not everyone is like that. I have been taking notice of that.
When I was living in Orlando, FL back in 2004, I tried to use my free Disney pass to go to the Magic Kingdom. The ticket attendant said my card would not scan correctly because it was only good for one day. I had used the card to go to Epcot the prior week. I told her that the info was incorrect as I can't visit every theme park in one day and have a good time. She had a little attitude when handling this situation. I was about to leave Disney but then I decided to go to the customer service window and a very nice, pleasant, smiling customer service agent asked how she could help. I told her of the situation and she told me that I WAS CORRECT. She said that she would allow me access to the Magic Kingdom.
She said my card still needed to be scanned in order for entrance and offered to escort me to another ticket agent if I had a problem with the woman who rude. I told her "no. That won't be necessary. Let's go back to the ticket holder I was talking to". The rep thought that was a good idea so she could also correct her on the policy.
When we went the ticket holder, she tried to debate with the rep saying that someone told her something different and the rep had to correct her. The ticket agent didn't like that at all. Oh, well. I got in and she got corrected. She had better recognized. LOL.

Yeah customer service in 2014, lol. Don't laugh at me but I went in T-mobile because I had a facebook issue on my phone LOL
ponytail 03-18-2014, 06:17 AM CenturyLink raised are bundle bill again. Called and asked for the loyalty customer dept. Got the run around, transferred to different depts. Finally got hold of a nice c/s gal. Told her we were not happy with the increase. She said it looked like we were long time customers and we ended up getting $20 knocked off our bill plus free DVR for a year. Happy, happy, happy. We might still go back to Cox when the year is up, CenturyLink is constantly raising our bill.
OH Nuts! 03-18-2014, 07:02 AM The worst store for customer service is Pathmark, while other stores really make good customer service a STRONG part of their culture like Trader Joe's and Nordstrum.
Looking around for a better rep after mediocre service, can often pan out; as others have mentioned.
mets82 03-18-2014, 02:56 PM Talk about bad customer service, try dealing with Ocwen Loan Company who handle my mortgage. My mother has to send them 6 bucks every month using certified mail because they claim they never get the mortgage payment on time, which is such bull. Plus, they charge her late fees and say they never get the mortgage payment. Even when they do get the payment, it takes them forever to tell you that they got it. You cant call them because a) who are you going to call and b) they just lie to you anyway. Do you know how many times my mother has called and sent letters telling them that she sends the payment in on time? And do you know how many times they either give her the run around, say that she's all set or actually don't blame themselves?
Thats why we are selling our home when the spring comes, whenever that is.
ThomasE 03-18-2014, 03:08 PM I hope all goes well with that. I know you were talking of your issues on the chit chat board and I wanna wish the best and moral support.
