Ended up living at home again in the series finale? During the duration of the show, Darlene always complained about Lanford and wanting to move away from Lanford. She wanted to always leave the house. In the season 2 episode where she writes that poem, she has an argument with Roseanne and tells her, "I just want to graduate from high school and move out of this hell hole town!" Then in season 6 she goes away to that art school. In the series finale, she tells Roseanne, "I wanna stay home with you mom."

You must remember that Rosanne had hit the lottery. As hard as she is to be around, hitting for millions makes her a bit more tolerable.

Becky and Mark still lived in that trailer home. Come on!! Those two could have at least moved into an apartment. LOL.

Yeah, that whole last season made no sense, and sucked the life out of that show.

I'd be checking out the ratings on the weekly basis and one week the ranking was in the 50's: A new, all-time low for the show.

Darlene really grew up especially when she became a mother herself so her whole insight had changed. I don't know if it's because I'm soon to be 42 years old but I'm going through this ordeal of looking back at my childhood and wanting to relive the memories.True I have always had respect in regards to where i came from, etc, but it seems even stronger as the years pass. Maybe Darlene found a new appreciation of all she really had.
