Cool! This means that if higher ups wanted to, they could divide up the show similar to what was done to All In The Family, divide up the eps into 2 separate packages with All In The Family's nine season in one package and then Archie Bunker's Place in another package.

Two and a half men can divide up into two packages: The Charlie Sheen era then the Ashton Kuther era.

It is obvious they were setting the stage to go out this season. I'd prefer a shortened final season with sufficient time for plausible wrap-up's to rushing into one unrealistic and forced finale episode. Rumors say around 13 episodes late season ending in May.

The show is still funny.

I am glad that it got a season 12. Maybe it will get a season 13? I just want the packages to be available if they choose to divide it up in syndication.

^^No, the 12th season may be its last.

That's what we thought about the ninth season and the tenth season and the eleventh season. It's up in the air for now.

^^It should be he last season for real. They don't have to do a full season, and it doesn't have to start in the fall, especially with the NFL Thursday Night games.

If the Chuck Lorre bandwagon continues its success, then it is possible we could get it for another season. Its just fun for me to see how long this show can go on. Lately, its been the dramas that have had this length of longevity but now, I am glad to see these sitcoms go the extra mile if the ratings are still good. I say keep them around if that's the case. I love that "The Simpsons" has worked its way into a 25th season.

^^But if a long-running veteran scripted series end its original run, then chances of creating and building new shows would improve. One aspect of the TV business would be creating and building new shows. No 13th season of TaaHM, please. The original run has to end with the 12th.

I'd rather see The Big Bang Theory go for 16 seasons, though.

But CBS has already got new programs coming their way. "Two and a half men" is on the Chuck Lorre bandwagon. CBS is still making some kind of money off the show. Its still a hit with viewers so everybody wins. I say let that baby ride.

^^No one scripted TV show's original run can last forever, ThomasE. Every scripted TV show has to end their original run at some point. No exceptions. Just conclude the show's original run with the 12th season.

It's official: Two and a Half Men will indeed end it's run after the 12th season.

Sorry, ThomasE, but it looks like the only baby they'll be letting ride is The Big Bang Theory. And maybe 2 Broke Girls.

Don't apologize for me. I'm glad the show got a season twelve. That's sufficient enough for me. Besides, the show is getting old. I would have be ok with a 13th season but a twelfth is just fine. 8 CS years and 4 AK years. That's perfect for me.

I'm a little confused. I heard it was canceled then saw it listed on the fall lineup. So it's canceled but not till 2015?
