however, it was cool, and I (who watched every Dallas episode ever shown from day one, was completely taken by surprise.)

The writing of this show is really high.

BRAVO to the writers. (and the cast).

and especially to the stars, who are busting their tails so far promoting the show.

Jesse and Josh and Patrick Duffy and Linda Gray were all over the NYC talk shows last week.

If they keep it this high quality, I think it's going to be around for as long as the younger stars decide they want to do it.
(which is important, I don't think the show could handle Jesse or Josh leaving the show, so hopefully they (and more important, their handlers) will not want to leave for films, and hopefully any other offers they get can be worked around their Dallas filming.
