Fox Renews "The Mindy Project"
by Matt Webb Mitovich
3/7/14

Fox has granted early pick-ups to three of its comedies — "New Girl", "The Mindy Project" and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" — as well as its Kevin Bacon-fronted thriller "The Following".

"New Girl" will return for a fourth season, "Mindy" and "The Following" were each picked up for a third cycle and the Golden Globe-winning "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" will be back for a sophomore run.

Additional Fox pickups will be announced at a later date.

According to this article on Vulture.com (http://www.vulture.com/2014/05/kevin-reilly-fox-hang-out-things-you-learn.html), the third season of The Mindy Project may have only 15 episodes. Shortened episode orders aren't always a good sign.

I think 15 is the wrong order for The Mindy Project's 3rd season because it causes too much compression along the way. Kevin O'Reilly may have messed up this show by appraising the focus on men in too fast speed, which is not right. He may also have caused both the general FOX financial network collapsing and the careless budget financial cut crisis incidents on this show.

Well since Kevin O'Reilly got fired, then this is an important time to fix this show:

1.) Beg for an increasing number of episodes from 15 to 22.

2.) Keep actress Zoe Jarman as a reduced guest before the romedy (romantic comedy) style of this show gets completely ruined.

3.) Add a cranky old man doctor character in order to gain better appraised criticism, more ratings and viewership and a strong continuance in this show.

4.) It was wrong to get rid of both actresses Anna Camp and Amanda Setton from this show, but they should have been reduced as guests of this show's main cast along the way instead. Now they should return to this show as reduced guests before time runs out.

5.) Finally, we may need to add an erratic young woman nurse character in this show as a recurring guest on the second half of next season.

But first, let's focus on both the Summer awards events.

Season 3’s premiere will be called "We're a Couple Now, Haters!” because people could be offended by “bitches,” Kaling explains.

Yeah "Haters" fits for the episode title.
