Screens in their windows, a hall closet, they all hang their coats on the hook or coat tree by the door.

Marvo301 03-02-2014, 10:46 PM Screens in their windows, a hall closet, they all hang their coats on the hook or coat tree by the door. If sitcom houses had screens in the windows then the teenage children wouldn't be able to climb out the window when they want to sneak out at night!!! LOL!! dougiezerts 03-02-2014, 11:06 PM Screens in their windows, a hall closet, they all hang their coats on the hook or coat tree by the door. In the 50's-early 60's, toilets!!!!! Tubehead 03-03-2014, 04:57 AM any one noticed when some one in sitcom when their drinking water coke or milk they never have ice in their drinks? I just thought of that. Furienna 03-06-2014, 12:13 AM Hm, I hardly ever have ice in my drinks either. Especially not in milk. biffbronson 06-24-2014, 11:59 PM Some exceptions: Hall closets: On The Dick Van Dyke Show, Bewitched, and All in the Family; Laverne & Shirley as well (Milwaukee seasons) Toilet '50s - '60s: Earliest Leave It to Beaver episode has the kids putting a tiny baby alligator in the tank Tubehead 06-25-2014, 08:46 AM I always noticed that they didn't have ice in milk coke or water Torgo 06-25-2014, 09:07 AM I always noticed that they didn't have ice in milk coke or water I would say most people don't put ice in their milk. tlc38tlc38 06-25-2014, 12:40 PM I would say most people don't put ice in their milk. I know I'm in the minority but I actually like ice in my milk when I drink it, which is not that often. James28 06-26-2014, 04:04 AM Trees When the CBS network cancelled the rural-themed shows in 1971, Pat Buttram, who starred in Green Acres, made an observation that, "1971 was the year that CBS canned everything with a tree in it." I think this statement suggests that you never see any trees in a multi-camera sitcom. Furienna 06-26-2014, 04:22 AM As far as I can remember, sitcoms will have trees if the scene is outdoors. At least if it's in a park or out in the countryside. Dave_L 06-29-2014, 06:01 PM An entire episode of Alice (a multi-camera sitcom) was about Vera chaining herself to a tree to prevent it from being chopped down. It ultimately was taken down despite her efforts, and in the process it fell right through Mel's Diner. jehobden 06-29-2014, 08:37 PM Sitcoms rarely have foyers at the front door, since the front door usually opens directly into the living room. TVFactFan 06-29-2014, 09:10 PM air conditioners in the window LOL Ohio8 06-29-2014, 11:14 PM I would say most people don't put ice in their milk. I don't. treky 07-01-2014, 12:03 AM In the 50's-early 60's, toilets!!!!! there was an early episode of LEAVE IT TO BEAVER (I think it's the 2nd episode) where they show Wally and Beaver keeping a baby alligator in their toilet tank. |
