TNT's hit drama Dallas launched its third season Monday night with 2.7 million viewers in Live +Same Day delivery, matching its season-two average. Among key demos, the premiere garnered 1.1 million adults 25-54 and 946,000 adults 18-49 in Live + Same Day. Those deliveries are also consistent the show’s second-season average

2.7 million viewers...Does anyone know if that's good or bad.

Considering that TNT is a cable channel, I think that is not bad at all. Plus, it has been consistent with the previous seasons' airings.

Consistent with previous season was my point..Season 2 premiere was being compare to the ratings of season one premiere which brought in over 6 million views. When season two premiere dwindle from 6 million to over 2 million viewers...a lot of people thought the ratings dwindle was due to seasonal change or lack of promotion..and due to this big dwindle...fans thought there would not be a season 3. (Thank god they were wrong). Either way 2 millions is far from 6 million. I'm worried that there might not be a season 4 if the show doesn't pick up...I would feel comfortable if the show hit at least 4 million views. It's a really good show... And I hope they give it a chance.. I really think it could become more popular than the original.

I think it is a good show but it will never be more popular than the original. There are to many key characters missing (JR, Miss Ellie, Pam).

I just learned on another site called Daytime confidential that Dallas season 3 premier brought in 3.5 million. That's more like it...Thank God.

I think the fact that the show was off for so long probably has something to do with the ratings. It wouldnt shock me if the ratings were off.

The second episode really fell in the ratings. If it doesn't pick up in the summer, I think it's over.

Watched the second episode last night and really like it. I am really starting to like Emma alot. I hate that Bates Motel and Dallas are on at the same time.

I'm still a big fan of the original show. I do like this one but there is too much sleeping around or at least showing it.

I like this version as well. I have to say it but I think Pamela is one of the most beautiful women on tv right now.

It is so hard with all the tv stations out there to remember when the show is on. I missed the 2nd episode of the 3rd season.
