"Supernatural" Spin-Off Taps "Heroes" Actress as Shifter, "Burn Notice" Alum to Play Cop

"Supernatural: Tribes" has cast its female lead.
Danielle Savre (Heroes) will portray shapeshifter Margo on The CW’s planted spin-off, TVLine has confirmed.
Margo serves as the acting head of the leading shapeshifter clan. She’s an ex-punk rocker-turned-corporate professional who feels threatened only by the return of her prodigal brother David (played by Nathaniel Buzolic, The Originals).
Also joining the project is Stephen Martines (Burn Notice, The Closer) as Detective Freddie Costa, a world-weary Chicago cop who serves as a mentor to Ennis (Episodes’ Lucien Laviscount) — aka the newbie hunter — but also is secretly on the payroll of one of the monster families.
Savre and Martines will both appear in this season’s 20th episode of "Supernatural" — aka "Tribes’" de-facto pilot — airing April 29.
"Tribes" is described as a sweeping drama about the various mafia-esque monster families that, unbeknownst to humans, “run” the underbelly of Chicago.
These families also are being tracked by a newly-minted hunter who’s trying to stop them and rid Chicago of anything or anyone supernatural.
