Thank you very much. Yes there have been people who have helped. But it has been 4 yrs and now it is an official cold case in IL, Cook Co Asst State Atty Tom Biesty is in charge of.
Lacey was brutally tortured and murdered on Dec 7, 2009 just 6 days after she turned 20. There was very little media coverage done in the Chicago land area. The Chicago Tribune reporter said it may have been because it was thought to be a personal murder or because of the location and Lacey's last name gave reporters impression she was of another race.
But Lacey was a wonderful mother to a little boy and an amazing daughter, granddaughter, cousin and niece.
If you visit her site you'll see the internet coverage she has received over the last few years. You'll see she has a Facebook Page and thousands of friends.
Someone knows who killed her. It's time for them to come forward and tell.
