Well, if Cory and Topanga’s daughter Riley decides she wants to be a cheerleader, we hear there could be someone in town worthy of coaching her. Or perhaps that’s a really, really bad idea.

Regardless, when Jane Lynch was recently asked on Twitter if there was any truth to the rumors that she will guest star on Disney Channel’s "Girl Meets World", the "Glee" actress responded, “Yes there is truth.”

The "Boy Meets World" spin-off is expected to air later this year.

It's girl meets "Glee" when Jane Lynch guest-stars on Friday's "Girl Meets World". Don't worry, she's not bringing Sue Sylvester with her.

Lynch is appearing as herself, the host of the Buggie Awards, where Farkle (Corey Fogelmanis) is nominated for a prize. The problem? He only has one plus-one and doesn't know who to take:

Riley (Rowan Blanchard) or Maya (Sabrina Carpenter).

Well we all now know that both show up to the Buggie Awards to be with Farkle because Riley and Maya are both Canada which is another reference made during the episode.

That might have been the most pointless guest star so far. She could have been replaced with anybody and nothing about the episode would have changed.
