Guys/gals, I'm really scared! I mean it too. The following that I post is completly true and I think I'm completly becoming mentally unstable or that my house is haunted.

1: Yesterday, some strange things were going on. After I finished watching "Three's Company", I decided to sleep. I turned off the lamp in my room, and I swear I saw the form of a man standing by my closet. I ran to my lamp and turned it on only to see nothing. This happened twice more thereafter.

2: This morning, my mom was calling my grandmother in Germany. She swears she kept hearing a man screaming 'HELLO' into the phone and than the person laughing. Infact, my grandmother was drowned out by the man's voice.

3: My mom made me put up the phone. I went to the stand where its' put (It's sort of a cel phone). When I put it down, I heard faint noises coming from behind the stand, like a man muttering under his breath.

4: This evening I was on the computer. All of the sudden, I heard these strange poundings on my window. When I looked, there was nothing there.

5: I keep having this terrible feelign like something bad is going to or has happened. I'm becoming very paranoid...

6: My brother (Turns 2 on march 12th) came running out of the living room in which my mom and dad were watching "Six Feet Under", and he was SCREAMING. It was only the theme opening..I took him into my room where I saw the figure and he got even more scared....he kept frailing his arms and I nearly dropped him..he ran back into the living room and to my mom.

This is REALLY starting to freak me out..

My advice is to write to unsolved mysteries and have them do a story on your house... I'd maybe move out though until they can do the story. Or you could talk to physic Sylvia Brown and ask her what to do about the ghosts. When she was on Montel once someone asked her how to get rid of a ghost and she told them to just tell them to go away and to please leave you alone. I know it sounds wierd but try that.

Yea Sylvia Brown is good about spirtual stuff, Public events thou.... Just go to her website at sylvia.org go under 2000 predictions and count up the ones she got wrong.

Sitcomwriter, you know you have some problem because this guy is really freaked out and all you do is just make fun. I swear, you always make fun of everyone and everything when you get the chance to. If you don't know what to say or have something real really vile to say, just KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT!!!!! Nobody wants to hear it!!! You are probably the most immature memeber I have EVER met on these boards. I know what Sean is going through because I had a very traumatic experince happen to myself just recently. I know you don't wanna hear it, but I'm gonna say it anyway. Someone I knew recently commited suicide in one of our guest rooms. He hung himself in the closet and I am really scared of the dark when I sleep now. I know what Sean is going through, believe me. I fright really easilly in the night by strange noises and all that. AND IT FREAKS ME OUT! Okay? Good, now I don't want you to ever make fun of serious situations again! I'm not trying to be mean, but I have read your posts in the past and know what you are like. I just want you to CHILL and keep your insults to yourself! I don't think it's "Dark Shadows"..right now they're in a storyline where they're in the past and all these weird romantic things are going on where a witch is causing one of the characters to cheat on the man she'll marry. I honestly thought about it being "Dark Shadows", but the point in which things happened just don't hit. But when I first started watching Febuary 4th, they had this guy coming back as a ghost tormenting one of the characters. But "Dark Shadows" was the last thing on my mind when these things happened, in fact I was thinking of "Three's Company" when I saw whatever it is.

I'm not joking but I've seen strange things too.IMO I think it's got something to do with our insucurities after Sept.11

I know that was a long time ago but still.JMO!

Ok, I know how scared you are because one day when I was home alone someone called and said "ha..ha..ha.." in the phone. And I told D but she said it was probably prankers. The next day it happened again. Those nights I had really bad dreams and I was seeing and hearing things everywhere. Even in school I heard voices. One day in Reading/ELA I yelled outloud "Who the hell just said that?!" And no one said anything. I'm still scared to this day.

But my advice to you is to stay with someone. If it REALLY scares you, stay with your mom. You ever think about checking the history of your house? It could be haunted. Not with "Ghosts and Vampires", but I mean with spirits or something. You might want to check that.

OMG. Well that same thing has been happening to me, not as much as before. But my best friend and I were walking into the bathroom at school and we were the only ones in there. Then we heard this banging from inside this heater in the bathroom and we just ran out. And every time I got to her house and we go outside we hear screaming and doors creaking and it's just so scary! There have been a lot more scary things, but that's all I'm gonna say for now.

Oh I forgot to say that the banging in the bathroom has been happening every time we go into the bathroom by ourself. I swear. ok, well we were in there with another girl and right when she left, the banging started happening again. That just freaked us out.

Mmmmmm.... Maybe you should put crosses and other biblical items around your bed. I once saw on Sightings that a couple used that method of ridding their house of spooks.

Also try asking it to go away.

I'm wondering, have you or any of your family members used a ouija board? I've heard that can make spirits bother people.

Is that right? When did you move into your new house?
You might like Lisa Whelchel said , have the History of your house
checked out. Also if you can try & find out who all has lived in your house before. Also if any one who lived there has ever died in the house. Also try & find out what was there before it was built. Also to my knowledge ghosts are usually people who have died & have unfinished business to do. Also try talking to the man.

JulianBozo, I never lived in New York. But this is a new house because we had to move last summer. I had to calm myself yesterday by watching "The Cosby Show", and I got really scared when I had to go to bed. I don't like where my room is situated, right by the porch. From my room I can hear my neighbors always fighting with each other. I don't know what it is, but all I know is that it is scaring the crap out of me. Yesterday night, the porch was creaking and all...the creepy thing is, that the porch isn't made out of wood, it's made out of concrete. I'm sitll trying to figure that one out.

I'm never touching one of those again. A few summers ago my moms best friends and my mom were saying how when they were little they used to sit on the girls porch at midnight and have seances. With the Ouija boards and candles and all. Then a few nights after they all would have like, the same exact dream, and hear the same exact things and they thought one of the girls was posessed. *shudders* I'm stoping. I'm alone in this house, down in my cellar.

Ouija board................that thing is possesed!!! I was playing it at a sleepover and then we got bored with it and it was left alone in the guest room in my basement. Then we all went into another room to watch a movie. Then some people went back into the guest room and it had moved. I dunno if someone moved it or not...but it is still scary!!!

Something like this was happening to me at my house a couple of years ago. I would hear loud noises from my room at night from the other room when nobody was there. Then when I would go to bed I would hear voices and I had this strange feeling that somebody was watching me even was alone but then one day it just stoped. So if it hasn't been going on very long it might eventually go away. Even if it doesn't as long as nothing horribly bad (like hurting you or something) is happening you should just try to ignore it and not be afraid. Although it would take awhile to get use to.

OMG...Ouija boards...that's some scary $h!t!!

Me and my friend were sleeping in my backyard, far away from the house in a tent one night. We got the Ouija board and when we took it out of the box, there was this pounding on the top of the tent. So we went outside and it wasn't raining and there was no one there. We slept inside that night.

Y'all not the only ones!

One time I was in my room by myself with the lights turned off(I was getting something).I could swear I heard a faint meow.Sure there are stray cats that run around outside but this sounded LIVE!"Meow Cats LIVE!" kinda live!!!!!!!!

It doesn't stop there.I once had a late night spook myself.The first night I had saw "Charlie's Angels" on TVLand I stayed up late.The theme song was rolling and it got up to the part where the fire pounds on to the screen behind the little figure of the angels and the exact moment the plug to the little digital clock fell out and a very cold streak flew past me!!!!!!!!!!!!

One day this past summer I was watchin' All My Children and I went to the bathroom.I made absolute complete positive sure I put the crossword book I was working on was open.And when I came back Brooke (a character) was crying and my book was closed.

My house is definantly haunted tho!!!!One night I was watchin' FOL and TC back to back (ahh the old days!) and the lights flashed between the shows!!!!!!!We went get the tap lights in case the lights went out completely and when we came back it happened again but the TV was still on!!!!!!!!!!!

One theory is that a ghost is a person who died with some unfinished business or something is keeping him or her here. I suggest you try to be brave and attempt communication with whatever it is. Perhaps you can find out how to help get it away.

yea, i have seen this on the scariest places on earth. maybe some1 b4 u was there and died in some weird way and they just want something. . i dont wanna scare you :( but it could be possible. . .:eek:

I don't think it's a ghost. I suggest you find somebody to tell whom you think can do something.
