Suddenly without warning, the original film version of A Raisin In The Sun just came on! I can watch it from the start and look for influences on Good Times, carefully. So far the mother and father are talking, and the precocious little kid (obviously the Michael role) comes in... excellent action, "film noir" black-and-white film making, and very subtle humor. The legendary Sidney Poitier stars... great work!
