"Supernatural" Spin-Off Casts "Vampire Diaries", "Skins" Alums

The upcoming "Supernatural" spin-off "Tribes" has cast its first two series regulars, TVGuide.com has learned.

"The Vampire Diaries" alum Nathaniel Buzolic has landed the role of David Hayden, a shapeshifter from one of Chicago's ruling monster families who gave up the monster life years ago and has been living as a human.

Lucien Laviscount (Episodes, Skins) will play Ennis Roth, a police academy trainee who becomes a monster-hunter after his fiancée is killed in the crossfire of the monster war.





Both characters will be introduced in the April 29 episode of "Supernatural", which will launch the new project.

"Tribes" will follow the mafia-esque monster families that run the underbelly of Chicago and are being tracked by a newly-minted Hunter who's trying to rid the city of anything supernatural.
