Ok I'm always wondering about silly stuff like that, just how my mind works lol

Ok I live out in the country, and the town I go to quit a bit ~to do my business and stuff in~ is 13 miles away.

Out of curiosity if the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building where in this near by town that is 13 miles away, would I be able to see them from my country home?

Keep in mind there are lots of trees and things around here, but would I still be able to see them like just sticking up in the sky?

I can faintly see the New York skyline (in the distance) from Wantagh, New York which is about 25 miles from the city.
Only on the parkway where there are no visual obstructions, not in the residential area.
