It’s a sad fact that many great TV shows get cancelled after just one year without the chance to deliver on their promise. Firefly, Wonderfalls and Journeyman; we all have those one season wonders whose quick demise causes a moment of anguish in our geeky hearts.

At the other end of the scale there are those TV shows that go on and on and on, from season 687 of X Factor to Big Brother 57. Okay, perhaps I’m exaggerating a little bit, but reality shows continue to wear out its welcome, outlasting great cancelled dramas like the recently deceased Ripper Street. their list:

8. Homeland
7. Prison Break
6. 24
5. How I Met Your Mother (strongly disagree with this one - it got a little tired the last couple of seasons, but it is going out in style)
4. Under The Dome (how they can say this about a show that hasn't even AIRED or even produced its second season is beyond me - also why do they credit the show to author Stephen Kind?)
3. Glee
2. Murder One
1. Heroes (I agree with this one, but only because the second season could have been SO much better if they had just thought things through and planned it out and just written it better.)

The only one I agree on is Glee. I stopped watching it after season 2.

I have never seen a full episode of either those shows.
