Well Knight Rider wasn't known for it's deep thinking so making it into an action comedy could work, the purists will hate on it but we have to wait and see.

I do though expect KITT to be a Pontiac Trans-Am, that is a must no damn Mustang either.

Jefferies tells The Insider with Yahoo!, "Justin Bieber is the voice of KITT in this movie -- you can't say that every day." Hasselhoff adds, "He (Bieber) called me and asked me for a favor. I called him back and said, 'As a friend, could you do me a favor?' And he said, 'Yes.' And you know what? I did his favor first because I love the Bieb. I think he's a cool kid, and he gets a bad rap. He's a good guy, and I like his music. I've known him for five years, since the European Music Awards."

Bieber has appeared in a number of films as himself and he played a teenage serial killer in two episodes of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" in 2010 and 2011. The comedy, currently titled "Killing Hasselhoff," is about a man who tries to win a bet by hiring an assassin to kill the actor.

There have been talks of a Knight Rider movie in the past. If it was done in a serious tone, I would be interested. Since this sounds like it will be a horrible parody, I am not interested in seeing this. I'll stick with the reruns of the original '80s classic.

I'd rather see David Hasselhoff and William Daniels reunite and make a serious Knight Rider movie, but it doesn't look like that will happen, unfortunately. I loved watching this show as a kid- still a great, fun series.:) :cool:

I wouldn't mind seeing a Knight Rider movie. Who is Chris Pratt and Danny McBride? Is one of them supposed to play David Hasselhoff's character?
