Meat Loaf Explains What the "That" Is in 'I'd Do Anything for Love'

He'll do anything for love, but he won't do ... what?

In a new interview, Meat Loaf finally explains what the "that" is in his most famous song. "It's the line before every chorus," the singer tells Yahoo! Screen. "There's nine of them, I think. 'I'll never stop dreaming of you every night of my life / I'll do anything for love / But I won't do that.'"

The confusion, according to Meat Loaf, is rooted in songwriter Jim Steinman's longwinded style. "The problem lies because Jimmy likes to write," he explains. "And so you forget what the line was before you get to 'I won't do that.'"

Check out Meat Loaf's full interview below, in which he says whether or not he'd work with Justin Bieber, and slams his Fight Club co-star Brad Pitt's poker skills.

I always figured that "I would do anything for love but I won't do THAT" meant that he would never get married no matter how much in love he is.
