Well, my very best friend is getting engaged. Mama's Family is one of our all-time favorite shows. One of our favorites episodes is "The Wedding." We're constantly quoting it, and we do the whole "Daddy's sapphire ring" routine. I wanted to get her something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue. I'm assuming he went to Raytown High, I was just uncertain of the year. It appears that the ring was a high school class ring, and wanted to come as close to it as possible. I know it would please both of us, and make us happy.

I never thought of it as a high school ring. If it were I would assume they would say so.
