I was looking at the back of some Universal videotapes from the MCA and MCA/Universal eras, and I noticed they have a message that says "Digitally Recorded".

Is "Digitally Recorded" exactly the same as "This videotape has been digitally mastered onto Hi Fi and digitally mixed from the original master analog tapes", as seen on the 1986 Back to the Future VHS release?

Yes they are garbage... So many movies have been ruined on VHS its not funny...

The Goonies (1985) - DIGITALLY PROCESSED (Looks thin and gross -- The beautiful analog movie cant ever be seen and its sad. (Unless you get one recorded off analogue cable/TV (I luckily recently found one)))

THE BREAKFAST CLUB (1985) - It doesnt say it but it looks digital.... VIDEO FLAT AND VOID!!! (I found a copy recorded off analogue cable recently and its goregous (Video has depth, etc (Same with the goonies))

ET (1982) - Digitally recorded -- Sounds like crap (Vocals are quite LOW while everything else is loud) - Video looks thin (I have this recorded from analog TV - Goregous)

The USA has destroyed more movies with this digital crap than any other country and its quite sickening!!

I got a copy of SONG OF THE SOUTH (1946) - (PAL to NTSC copy) and it is done in 1996 in london AND THEY DID NOT RUIN IT!!!!!! (If that was done in the USA it would be crap for 1996)
