Just catching this one on ME-TV Steve Douglas grew up... in Mayberry?
I know this has no doubt been discussed but this is my first view, nice scene in downtown in front of the grocery store and the first location of the TV & Radio... I just popped in mid-show but got a nice glimpse!
I see that the episode is "Fly Away Home", Season 7, 1966, but not much else seems to be discussed about this classic, that has Uncle Charlie holed up in the Hotel, Steve's childhood home which seems to be Andy's Mayberry house (I think), and again when Child and Ernie are wandering downtown Burt Mustin even makes an appearance and remembers Steven Douglas, also-ran Presidential candidate again Lincoln.
Again, this has to be an old topic, but as a 40 Acres fan... wow.
