Is anyone else seeing shadows on the season 2 dvd's? It doesn't happen on any other dvd's I own except these.

You also gotta love how the show is called Family Matters and yet Urkel is front and center on the cover of the season 2 dvd's, while if you squint real hard, you can see the "family" in the background.

I bought season 2 when it was released and it's been a while since I've watched the DVDs. I will watch a couple episodes later tonight to see if I notice any shadows.

I watched my 2 favorite episodes from the season ("Cousin Urkel" & "Life of the Party") and I did notice a lot of "people shadows" and other objects. The lighting director must've been asleep at the switch. I didn't really notice this until you pointed it out.

What do you mean "shadows" ? as in shadows of people and objects in the actual print? If thats the case there is nothing you can do about that, the way the lighting was when filmed.

Or do you mean "shadows" on a technical aspect as in DVD ghosting effect because the dvd is interlaced picture?

Yeah, I was looking at my newly purchased Season 2 DVD the other day while eating a chocolate donut and thought I ended up getting a bit of frosting on it. I was nearly about the return it for another copy when I noticed the little brown stain was actually just the Winslow family in back of the Godzilla sized Urkel. Such is life! :)
