MPI to rerelease seasons 1-3! I'm so glad I waited and didn't shell out big bucks for the OOP seasons. I like this show but I don't really like it enough to pay over $100 for a season. I will buy these new releases!

I am going to double-dip because MPI is going to remaster the prints, likely restore the cut-off endings and give us better cover art.
But what I'm REALLY hoping for is that Sony will give up Seasons 6-8 to MPI for release. Apparently Sony is in trouble again and are letting a bunch of employees go. The last time this happened around 5 years ago is when they began licensing a lot of properties to Shout Factory such as Designing Women, Facts of Life, All in the Family, etc.
Hopefully they will let MPI have the rest of Donna and perhaps The Farmer's Daughter, too.

I own all 5 seasons of The Donna Reed Show and will also double-dip. MPI has done an excellent job with seasons 4&5. Maybe more interviews/commentaries with Paul & Shelley or some crew members (if any are still living) also some bonuses that have yet to see the light of day.

Season 2 & 3 looked cheap looking with those big plastic cases and at least 4 episodes were sloppily butchered in season 2 for syndication. I'm sure we Donna fans want uncut episodes instead.
