John was on The Talk yesterday and said Goerge Cloony left the show because he knew the charactor wasn't going anywhere. Some people thought it was because George and Rosanne didn't get along.

Yeah...I wouldn't expect that he'd come back if there were issues with Roseanne.

Let's be honest, Booker was a good character, but he was going nowhere. Beyond his marrying Jackie, which was not going to happen, his character was limited.

IDK, I think his character was MUCH better than the Fred character and they wrote enough for him.
