"Game of Thrones" Promotes Nathalie Emmanuel to Series Regular

Nathalie Emmanuel has been promoted to series regular on "Game of Thrones", TVGuide.com has confirmed. Emmanuel first appeared on the series during Season 3 as Daenerys' (Emilia Clarke) personal servant Missandei, who has a gift for languages.
The actress will continue to be a recurring character during the upcoming fourth season, and her promotion will go into place for Season 5.
"Game of Thrones" has not yet been renewed for the fifth season. It returns Sunday, April 6 at 9/8c on HBO.
