If you did, you would notice that they "upgraded" their message fourms. I would say they did that because a lot of spammers spammed that board but I found out that 99% of all messages on that site are spam. What a shame. What also is shameful is that when I tried asking how much of a Honeymooners clip would cost (on their clip liscensing section), I got no reply back. I also think that the carrer timeline of Gleason is incorrect. You think a site ran by Jackie Gleason's family would be better taken care of.

Wow, everything on that site is spam. What a joke.
That site doesn't list everything from Gleason history.
They need a revamp of that site.

Not such a great site, not a lot there.

I didn't really click on all that much, so I can't vouch for all the spam.
I did notice they don't even list one of my favorite Gleason characters.... Charlie Bratton

Even with people who are critical of how some of his estate has been handled, I think the Johnny Carson Estate has done a fantastic job and johnnycarson.com is an example of what the Gleason Estate should be doing. Carson has a Youtube page, archieve releases on DVD from the vaults, show information. Gleason was The Great One before Johnny was King, and it is a shame that this is how Jackie's legacy is handled. With things like this newer generations will never discover the Genius of Jackie Gleason.

I just checked the message boards and they are now free of spam...for now. That being said, I wish that the Gleason estate did what Johnny Carson's estate did for Johnny's Carson's fans. Meaning of course, I wish they would make more of Jackie's work available and such if you know what I mean.

I know that this thread is 10 years old but since that time Johnny Carson era of the Tonight Show has appeared in reruns on Antenna TV and for a time had a channel on Pluto TV that showed NOTHING but Johnny Carson era of the Tonight Show. (I know that the Carson YouTube channel has a clip from a 1974 episode where Art Carney plays the piano. This is NOT the episode that Antenna TV airs that also features a hilarious bit where Johnny and Dom Delouise throw eggs at each other. This is a different episode. Has Antenna TV ever showed this?) The Jackie Gleason Show has not gotten this treatment (although to be fair Jackie’s shows have far more clearance issues than Johnny and also many of the Johnny Carson era of Tonight Show reruns are more recent and probably would get better ratings.)
