With "The Middle" now in its 5th season, it occurred to me that Patricia Heaton (Everybody Loves Raymond & The Middle) has now been a TV mom on two different sitcoms that lasted a least 5 seasons.

Lucille Ball (I Love Lucy & Here's Lucy) is the only other actress I can think of that can claim this distinction, which makes for quite an exclusive club.

Am I missing anybody?

I know there are several actresses that have been TV moms on more than one sitcom, but are there any other actresses that have been a TV mom on more than one sitcom that lasted at least 5 seasons or at least 100 episodes? (To be eligible, the TV children must also be on the sitcom 5 or more seasons, so this eliminates actresses such as Bea Arthur, who was a TV mom on 2 shows that lasted at least 5 seasons, but her children on "The Golden Girls" were not part of the regular cast.)

Phylicia Rashad could possibly be a candidate- she portrayed wife and mother Clair Huxtable on "The Cosby Show" for 8 seasons and then she portrayed wife and mother Ruth Lucas on "Cosby" for 4 seasons. (So yeah- that last show didn't quite make the 5 season mark, but I thought it was close enough.)
And yes- her children were part of the main cast for both shows.

Ellen Travolta portrayed Charles "Chachi" Arcola's mom (Louisa) on "Happy Days" (which ran for 11 seasons) and "Joanie Loves Chachi" (which ran for 2 seasons) and she also later portrayed Charles' mom (Lillian) on "Charles in Charge" (which ran for 5 seasons.):)
(And of course, Scott Baio performed both Chachi and Charles on the shows, so he's had the same actress to play his TV mom on three series.)
It would be awesome if they got Ellen Travolta to portray David's mom on Baio's current show "See Dad Run" as well.:)
