For those who can't get MeTV, here's good news. Seattle's MeTV affiliate is now streaming online. (http://www.filmon.com/tv/me-tv-seattle) Yeah, that means East Coasters get programs three hours later than usual but at least you get 'em!

Don't mind it being Pacific time...actually if METV is coming to the NY area in a few months, this will be a good option for when there are conflicts with
Cozi and Hallmark and Antenna

Washington DC's WJLA-ME is also on there for an east coast affiliate. It also lists Boston's MeTV as well but that one doesn't work. It's nice to have Seattle's if you want to watch certain programs later but what I absolutely hate about that one is that they show stupid paid programming.

MeTV has also streamed some full episodes on their own website on their video page. Lots of good stuff here, from "Dick Van Dyke" to "The Lucy Show" and even "H R Pufnstuf" too!

I'm watching Bewitched right now on Antenna TV NY. It says Everybody Loves Raymond below though. Antenna TV LA doesn't work for me for some reason.

I think the best feature at filmon.com is you can record shows that are streamed live and watch them later. You need to register first and you get 10 hours of recording space.

Thanks for clearing things up for me. I tried watching FilmOn again today and I was able to see both Antenna and Me-Tv stations this time around and I will subscribe to it once I become more familiar with it. I wish I had known about this last Sunday. I would have watched "The Flying Nun" marathon instead of the Super Bowl. I'll never make that horrible mistake again!!

I should point out that there are two cable feeds of KVOS, the METV affiliate, the Southern British Columbia feed and the Seattle Feed. I understand that the main difference are the commercials, and perhaps film rights to certain shows.

A friend of mine told me this (He is a mod @ another site I am on)

Filmon is illegally rebroadcasting those TV stations and trying to cover themselves with a disclaimer. Their disclaimer tells people who live outside of the area where they can legally deliver those channels not to watch. It is the wink/nod system - like posting a copy of a CDROM game and telling people not to download it and install it.

If this is the case then FILMON might not be doing it long!?

I don't get to see any shows from Antenna TV and MeTV during the week since I'm usually in Canada all of the time!. So that's very nice of them!

It was one time a Retro TV affiilate was streaming the RTV shows then they had stop also.

I find it strange that Vancouver is the only Canadian city that can receive Me-Tv clearly. (Of course, I also find Vancouver to be strange in general! :lol: )

If you live in a Canadian city that's close to the US border, like Montreal, Windsor, and especially Toronto (my area), Antenna and Me should come in as clearly as ABC, CBS, or NBC but they are nowhere to be found. It really is unfair!!

METV: Does anyone know where I can watch the MEtv channel online? Filmon.com used to stream this but dropped it a few months ago. I have been unable to locate it anywhere else on the internet.

Wait filmon.com tv is no longer working? Before that I started watching from March and until late May to watch my favorite program on WJLA-ME. I haven't started using it since. I'm shocked that filmon.com has dropped me-tv, WJLA-ME.
I wish there's me-tv online somewhere.. but if not maybe suggest watchin on netflix

A similar service called Aereo was sued by the major broadcasting companies and lost the judgment. The court put an injunction on FilmOn. They continued streaming broadcast channels and were found in contempt and fined 90,000.

Corporate greed will keep broadcast streams from ever happening "legally".

I was just there and it appears to be working for now. But again, I agree, for how long will it last? Let's keep our fingers crossed that we can at least enjoy it through the fall. For best results go here and keep scrolling down until you find a channel you like:

When you get near the bottom, there are a whole bunch of icons with Los Angeles, New York, and Washington, DC written across the top. Those might be your best bets if you are looking for either Antenna or Me TV. For me personally, I hope this lasts a while because this could be my only chance to ever watch them.

I just checked that site and while those channels are listed, what you are getting is just one of FilmOn's generic channels.

OK, I just checked WJLA-ME online site Tjangkruk/FilmOn channel list and other sites, it goes to filmon.tv main channel instead of WJLA-ME. So I guess it's true, they really did remove all local channels streaming online from filmon tv.... or maybe it's just me..

So that's what it means by "FilmOn's generic channels"?
