This probably has been covered before , but I can not find the answer.
Bo, Duke,Coy,Vance, and Daisy are all cousins. Jesse is their Uncle. Where are all the parents of these cousins. I heard something that they were killed at a family reunion. But it seems that all these adults were killed and left all these cousins parentless.

It's funny you should mention this, because I thought the same thing . You mentioned Bo, Duke, Coy, Vance, and Daisy . There was also another Duke cousin . Jeb Stuart Duke ( Christopher Hensel ) appeared in the episode "Along Came a Duke" . Apparently, every one of the Duke cousins was an only child . In the entire run of The Dukes of Hazzard, none of the Dukes had a brother or sister .

I'm guessing that Uncle Jesse was the son of Grandma and Grandpa Duke . In that case, Grandma and Grandpa Duke must have had seven sons, and six of them fathered one child . Wikipedia explained that Jesse Duke "provided for his nephews and niece in the unexplained absence of all of their parents" . The same article explained that The Dukes of Hazzard creator Gy Waldron, said on the DVDs that their parents were killed in a car wreck, but it was never mentioned in the show . " they were killed at a family reunion" ? That would certainly discourage any more family reunions !

You'd think one of the Dukes would have had a brother, sister, mother, or father appear during the run of the show . I wonder why there were nothing but cousins .
