RetroGuy2000 03-05-2014, 01:17 AM The documents show that she makes over $15,000 per month. How is she spending $3,000 per child, per month? That woman needs to cut down on her expenses!
ThomasE 03-06-2014, 01:15 PM I hope that she can resolve her situation. I wish her well with that. It sucks to have a major debt situation.
If You’re Wondering What Nicole Eggert Is Up To Now, She’s Driving An Ice Cream Truck (http://uproxx.com/webculture/2014/10/if-you-were-wondering-what-nicole-eggert-was-up-to-now-shes-driving-an-ice-cream-truck/)
isiahthomas 10-23-2014, 01:51 PM Wow that's a damn shame she's spending her money foolishly and now she has a ice cream truck business LOL. She isn't gonna make much money doing that. So how does she expect to pay off her debt? I didn't think people could file for bankruptcy 3 times. I thought you could only do that twice? How many kids does she have?

It's Nicole Eggert, former Baywatch babe turned ice cream truck driver. That's right, Nicole has traded her iconic red bathing suit for a green ice cream truck, and only INSIDE EDITION is with her as she sells her sweet treats.
Nicole is a single mom and she hasn't had a lot of juicy roles since her days on Baywatch. She declared bankruptcy in order to save her home from foreclosure. Have things gotten so bad that she's been reduced to pushing popsicles?
Nicole told INSIDE EDITION's Jim Moret, "We're not starving. We're doing okay. I've been continuously working."
Nicole calls her new business Scoops, a catchy name. She tweets out the location where she will park the truck. The sweet spot the day we were with her was right in front of the studio where hundreds of fans were lined up to watch Dancing with the Stars.
One customer asked, "Hello, can we please get a single scoop of cookies and cream?"
Moret asked a customer, "What was your reaction when you saw Nicole Eggert?"
"Um, I don't know, it made me want to get ice cream," said the customer.
Nicole sells the usual ice cream flavors rocky road, vanilla, pistachio and strawberry. She also sells some old-fashioned favorites.
"Jawbreakers, Sugar Daddies, Fun Dip, Pop Rocks, a favorite," said Nicole.
Not enough cash? No problem. Nicole takes credit cards, swiping the plastic on her iPhone.
Moret asked, "How does this compare with acting?"
"Well, it's nothing like acting. The fun part is interacting with the people," replied Nicole.
It may not be the most glamorous job for a former TV sexy symbol, but hey, it pays the rent.
ThomasE 11-05-2014, 01:51 AM I saw this interview yesterday on TV. Thanks for the transcripts. I do wish her well.

In a way, I'm not too surprised that Nicole hasn't gone a lot of "plum" acting roles post Baywatch (I don't understand why Charles in Charge wasn't mentioned in Inside Edition's report, since I would assume that Nicole first became a "household name" on that). Jason Mamoa has talked about how he had for the longest time, difficulty finding decent acting work because of the stigma of being on Baywatch. Basically, according to Mamoa, being on Baywatch gives casting directors the indication that you aren't really an actor (in effect, you were more or else, hired for your looks).
isiahthomas 11-21-2014, 04:11 PM Hollywood is really terrible towards how they treat actors when actors are looking for work. They seem to forget that actors of the past helped movie studios and tv studios make a lot of money. But it seems when actors of the past are still trying to act, people that's in charge that do the hiring seem to ignore them because they're old and outta shape which is the case with Nicole Eggert. Nicole doesn't have a sexy body anymore like she had when she was young because she's gained weight. So that's why she can't get acting work. I'm sure if she lost weight, casting directors would probably be interested in her. Plus sometimes actors of the past lose interest in acting and they wanna do something else which I don't have a problem with that or they may wanna retire which is also a good thing because they may have a lot of money saved. Can't actors of the past get a retirement check just like anybody else who has a regular job and can get a social security check when they retire?

Nicole Eggert (Summer Quinn, 1992-1994): It was the biggest mistake I ever made.... You're suddenly being labeled this bimbo and this Baywatch babe, and nobody can act on that show and it's a big joke and it's number-one because of all the T&A. I just was kind of blindsided with it all.

Michael Berk: Obviously Hasselhoff really never got cast in another acting roles. He did some Broadway, singing stuff, some reality stuff and all that. Pam went on to do VIP. Most of the others really didn't continue. Nicole Eggert's done a lot of low-budget movies.
Douglas Schwartz: I think a lot of them turned to eating. I was shocked to see Nicole Eggert and Erika Eleniak when they gained all their weight on The Fat Club with Dr. Drew or whatever that show was.
Nicole Eggert: It's so strange when you lose a parent — it just knocked me on my ass. I had always just been thin, but when you're stressed, your body will put on weight.
Nicole Eggert: I didn't even really realize that I had put on that much weight and that people were talking about it. Really, that's what you're talking about? You're not talking about how I just locked myself up and stayed inside for nine months and was a total basket case? So Celebrity Fit Club came along and I was just like, Why not?
isiahthomas 12-05-2014, 03:59 PM TMC, thanks for those comments you posted about Nicole Eggert speaking about how hard it was for her to get acting roles because of the character she played on Baywatch. That's sad that she couldn't get the roles she wanted because she was being labeled as a bimbo because of the character she played. Casting directors are so hard towards actors. Like I said, sometimes actors lose interest in acting and they may wanna do another job career and there's nothing wrong with that. But Nicole could've got a job doing something else besides having a ice cream truck LOL. I can't see her making a lot of money doing that and she's already in a lot of debt.

I saw Josie Davis (www.imdb.com/name/nm0004861/) on Hawaii 5-0 (https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=700535713354308&id=251402308267653) a few weeks ago, so on contrast to her CiC sister, she seems to have been able to land steady acting gigs as of late.

She'll probably do pretty good with that business. I gotta hand it to Nicole, she's not sitting on her tail doing nothing. You go girl.
MrCleveland 12-18-2014, 04:42 PM Too Bad...
I hope she gets a gig on TV soon...
isiahthomas 12-22-2014, 05:29 PM Flying Dutchman, why would you be happy about Nicole having a ice cream truck? Do you know how much ice cream she would have to sell to pay off her debts? It would take her forever to pay off her debts selling ice cream. She needs to get a job making some real money so she can pay off her debts quicker.
HuntingtonM15 12-22-2014, 05:43 PM It seems like she was able to successfully file bankruptcy with her third attempt. Since it is a chapter 13, it means her debts would have been restructured. She would still have to pay off the secured debts, but the unsecured debts will potentially be discharged. There would also be a close watch on her spending. She wouldn't be allowed to spend frivolously, or her bankruptcy could be terminated.
isiahthomas 12-23-2014, 01:55 PM Thanks for telling me that because I didn't know she filed bankruptcy 3 times. I didn't even think people were allowed to file for bankruptcy 3 times. I thought you were only allowed 2 times to file for bankruptcy. I might consider filing for bankruptcy a 2nd time in the future if I lose my car because I can't pay for car repairs since I don't have a full time job. If that happens, I won't be able to work so I can pay my credit card bill that I owe $2,000. The neighborhood I live in, it's very hard to find a job riding the bus because the bus stop is kinda far from where I live. I'm gonna try and get government money in the future because it looks like I'm not gonna get a full time job for a long time. Nobody it seems wants to hire me and I'm really upset about that. It's possible I have a learning disability and that's why I'm gonna go see a doctor and get tested. It sucks that I might have to depend on government money to live but that's the way it's looking right now for me because I've been without a full time job since June of this year. My job skills are limited and that's a problem because that's not good when you're looking for a job. I'm not a good school student. So that's why I don't wanna go back to school and learn some job skills because it'll be a waste of money. I don't wanna be in more debt because I'm already in debt with the credit card bill I owe.
HuntingtonM15 12-23-2014, 05:49 PM She didn't actually file bankruptcy three times. Her first two filings were rejected. I guess they accepted her third filing. Chapter 13 bankruptcies are also known to last for about five years, so she will be in it for a while.
isiahthomas 12-23-2014, 06:07 PM Do you know why her 2 filings were rejected? I've only filed for bankruptcy once but I might do it again if things get worse for me financially.
Bronson 04-01-2015, 09:22 AM Sorry about her misfortune. I hope things turn for the better for her. I saw her interview and her not liking being on Baywatch.
Planet Claire 08-02-2015, 11:39 AM This is terrible. I hope she can turn things around and get back on her feet. The first thing I would do if I was her is hire a trustworthy professional to help her manage her money.

3. Nicole Eggert
Estimated Net Worth: $500 thousand. Nicole Eggert is most recognized as Jamie Powell in the series, Charles in Charge and as Summer Quinn on Baywatch. Eggert has been acting since she was only 8-years old! She started out in the movie Rich and Famous, but got bigger with a recurring role on Who’s The Boss? and was starring on Charles in Charge at only 15-years-old. A few years later she took on her Baywatch role and appeared on some other popular shows and a few Baywatch spin offs. She’s done some movies, but recently she’s only been appearing on reality shows to make a buck like What Not To Wear, Splash and Celebrity Fit Club. Her lack of acting jobs and leading roles has left her with a small income. In 2014 she ran into some financial problems and filed for bankruptcy, claiming to have around $1 million in assets, but around $800,000 in debts and that her monthly income was at $15,000 with monthly obligations at $16,000. Just last summer it was reported that she had to sell her L.A. home to pay off some more debts. She’s more likely in the negatives by the sounds of it, but her listed net worth is at $500 thousand.
Marg Luver 05-25-2016, 09:53 PM Very sad news. I hope she can get herself and her money problems in check. She must have a serious spending problem.
