I LOATHE reality shows with a passion, but this one has me hooked. It's formulaic as hell, but I find it compelling.

The bar owners are usually train wrecks, so perhaps watching their incompetence makes me feel better about my own recent entrepreneurship? As rough as my day can be and as many times as I've questioned my own business judgement, I still wouldn't hire the morons that some of these bar owners do!

i generally don't like most reality shows, but I'll watch Bar Rescue if it is one I haven't seen before - I like watching Don get all worked up and yell at people.

I think I have seen every episode, even though some segments make me gag. The rules and regulations on owning a bar in the States seem much more lax than in Canada, especially compared to British Columbia.

How are they different, visaman666? I've never had the pleasure of visiting Canada, although Quebec is on my bucket list. I know in the US, regulations vary by state, sometimes by local jurisdiction.
