"CSI" Snags Gene Simmons for Guest Spot (Exclusive)

KISS frontman Gene Simmons will cameo as himself during "CSI's" 14th season, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.

“We're really excited to have Gene Simmons guest-starring on CSI, playing himself in a rock-and-roll-themed murder mystery," said executive producers Don McGill and Carol Mendelsohn in a joint statement to THR.

Simmons will appear in the 17th episode tentatively scheduled for March 12.

From "Family Jewels" to inside the yellow tape: Gene Simmons will play himself on Wednesday’s episode of "CSI".

The episode on CBS will involve a rock-and-roll-themed murder mystery. Simmons is questioned while holding a pair of tiny not-so-whiteys.
