The Donna Reed Show started in 1958 so it's a 50s sitcom, but you have it listed in the 1960s forum. Is that because you put this and other sitcoms into the forum during the decade that they ended. Donna Reed ran through 1966.

But Ozzie and Harriet and Leave It to Beaver are both listed in the 1950s forum and they didn't end until the mid-1960s either.

The Donna Reed Show only ran for a year and 3 months in the tail end of the 1950s and was on TV for 6-and-a-half years in the 1960s so I consider it a '60s sitcom even though the first few seasons definitely had the same feel as Beaver, Father Knows Best, etc.

So? The show Roseanne started in 1988, but the bulk of the show was in the '90s, so Roseanne is on the '90s board....makes sense to me.

Agree. The first two seasons had that charm & innocence of that 50's era of sitcomland.

Leave It to Beaver actually spent a small majority of its time on the air in the 1960s, 3 years/9 months vs. 2 years/3 months in the 1950s. It does have much more of a 1950s feel to it though.
