"Blue Bloods" Exclusive: "Law & Order" Alum Carey Lowell to Clash With Frank

Erstwhile "Law & Order" ADA Carey Lowell has copped a role on CBS’ "Blue Bloods", where she will lock horns with no less than NYPD commish Frank Reagan.
TVLine has learned that the onetime Bond Woman will guest-star in a spring episode as Joyce, a “Tiger Mom” described as “a beautiful iron fist in a velvet glove.”
When Frank (Tom Selleck) is cornered into co-chaperoning grandson Sean’s class field trip with Joyce, the two will clash over matters great and small while touring the American Museum of Natural History.
"Blue Bloods" resumes Season 4 this Friday at 10/9c.
