I'm bringing this up because last week, the Hub aired these episodes from I think, the fifth season. Why were these episodes shot on video tape (just like another Miller-Boyett/TGIF sitcom Full House) instead of film like Step by Step was normally shot as? I recall a similar effect happening w/ the usually filmed Family Matters during the on-location/vacation episodes to I think Paris, France (I don't remember if they also did Disneyland/world episodes like other ABC sitcoms of that era).

I don't know, maybe it's easier for on location.
