Family Ties Forever!

I don't have any sound on my computer. It was fine last night and suddenly today the sound is gone. I've tried shutting my computer down and turning it bakc on. I checked the volume level and it's where it's supposed to be.
Anyone know what else I can try?

The only other thing I think of it to check the wires to your speakers. Your speakers may be shot :(

I have a desktop computer. The speakers are built into it. I don't have external speakers.

Oh of course. I must have flashed back to the early 2000's when they were still separate. LOL! Hmm, I'm not really sure what could be wrong. You might want to have a professional take a look at it if possible.

My speakers went out on my old laptop without warning too. I think sometimes the speakers can quit working even when they are built into the computer. I hope you get it figured out. I know it is frustrating.

I'm thankful that after checking plugs and all, my sound is working again. :) I hope my sound continues to work and I don't have anymore problems with it. :)

That's great Jenny. I hate when my speakers don't work. The internet's no fun without sound.
