"Duck Dynasty's" Ratings Are Down Dramatically from Last Season

Fans no longer give a quack about "Duck Dynasty".

TV Line reports that 8.5 million people tuned in for the fifth season premiere of "Duck Dynasty" on Wednesday (Jan. 15), down from 12 million viewers who watched the fourth season premiere.

In the highly sought after age demographic of 18-49, only 4.2 million tuned in.



Phil Robertson created a huge uproar back in December with his comments about homosexuality in a GQ interview. Turns out that all of the following controversy did not help the ratings.

GOOD! hopefully this show will disappear from the airwaves sooner than later now!!!! I hate it even before the controversy!

I think the fact that A&E "outed" the family says volumes. During the suspension, other networks expressed interest in the "hillbillies". A&E released these photos (which had already been released w/o fanfare) to show how phony the Robertsons are.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: ALL of Reality TV, except for a few like Cops, is 100% fake.

I feel sorry for anyone who took this family 100% seriously.

Still the highest rated program on A&E.

its ok show my aunt likes it a lot before my uncle died they went to were there duck commander center was but they didn't get to meet any of the actors they got picture of my uncle and my aunt standing beside the duck commander center I didn't used to like it then I started watching it more I like it cause theirs always a lesson in the end of the show then they pray to Jesus before they eat. pulse Duck Dynasty it mostly only clean show on TV right now that and American pickers
