I am a huge TC fan and own all eight deasons, yet I am unable to find this episode!!...Mr. Roper is at the Regal Beagle and askes if anyone has seen Mrs. Roper. One of the girls (Chrissy, I think), says something like, "...there are lots of Helens....Helen of Troy (etc)".... and Mr. Roper reples, "Helen. Of Santa Monica". Does anyone know what I am talking about or I am just imagining this episode? LOL

If I remember correctly, Mr. Roper was worried at that time. I think it was in the episode when Helen wanted a better salary from him and, after he refused, she got a job at some fast food restaurant? Not sure. I also remember the scene but don't remember the story.

You're describing the plot of "Helen's Job" from S2 here. Helen got a job at a cafeteria to make the extra $, and she hated it. She came back from work the first day extremely stressed out with pea soup spilled on her dress and didn't want to go back again. She eventually found out how to get the extra $ out of Stanley by refusing to cook for him, if I remember correctly.

"Helen's Rendezvous" I think was the name of the episode. (S3 Ep5) She uses the kids apartment to talk to Stanley`s friend Jerry Gordon. (Stanley and Jerry were not getting along.) Jack, Janet and Chrissy think that she is having an affair after over hearing Helen`s phone call at the bar. Mr.Roper comes in asking if they seen her.
