I was hoping it would come to The Hub because N@N edits too much but I guess something is better than nothing.

Seriously? Wow! I haven't seen "Hangin' With Mr. Cooper" on TV in a really long time- great to see it back! Maybe Mark Curry's exposure on "See Dad Run" recently helped network executives remember his starring '90s show. In any case, I'll be glad to see it on TV again. Maybe we could even see some DVDs eventually too, especially if the show does well on Nick at Nite. :)

I'll just set my DVR to record so the timeslot really doesn't matter to me. By the way, Happy (early) Birthday! :)

Maybe it's also all the young TV executives who are nostalgic for their mid-'90s childhood too- lol. (Wow- that's kinda sad in some ways that '90s nostalgia has been kicking up for a while- I remember when the '80s nostalgia was huge in the last decade- and then of course, the '70s were big late in the 1990s... and before that there was nostalgia for the '60s in the late 1980s- and before that, nostalgia for the '50s in the 1970s. I don't know if the 1960s saw much '40s nostalgia or not- but I kinda doubt there was much '30s nostalgia in the 1950s- since most people were dealing with The Great Depression in America- there probably wasn't much to get too nostalgic about....
(Oh well- it just proves what they say- every twenty years or so, a new wave of nostalgia hits from the generation that grew up then...)
I suppose soon we'll be waxing nostalgic over the 2000s and longing for the good ol' days of the original "Survivor" show and "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?" back when Regis Philbin was hosting it........

I use to watch Hangin' with Mr. Cooper on syndication and also on The NEW TNN

The only bad thing about The NEW TNN was that they cut out the LORIMAR Television Logo and replaced it with the Warner Bros. Television Logo

I hope that they don't edit that out

I, too thought that it was gonna come to The Hub and/or abc family

Coop was one of the last shows to be produced by LORIMAR Television before the company closed its doors for good in 1993 and sold their company to Warner Bros. Television

This is definitely going to get moved over to MTV2 since they air Family Matters, Saved by the Bell, Boy Meets World, Smart Guy etc it would fit better over there

I hope they keep i lost all faith in nick at nite when they add friends and new Adventures of old christen it good while they added family ties it wasn't on not even a month or half then they put it at 5:00am hours then they cut it off i hope this don't happen to Mr. cooper i would like to see it on mtv 2 or hall mark channel hall mark would probably do the same thing as nick at night would do show it for a while then kick it into the ground at 3:00 am to 5:00 am i hope that it might come to the hub one day.

One question why was this moved too Hangin' With Mr. Cooper forum i just feel that a lot of people put if even a single show is coming to a channel on the general forum and it never gets moved!

They are skipping episodes including the first two. You'd think they'd want to run "Hangin' with Michelle".

I hate when networks do this. N@N is terrible about doing it so it doesn't surprise me this time.

They did a number on the opening credits.

They did a number on the opening credits.
They did a few numbers on it. They not only shortened it but they replaced En Vogue's version with the later theme song. It looks funny with Vanessa and Robin singing to different lyrics.

Sadly, if season 1 is ever released on DVD, this will probably be the theme song that is used.

I've caught a little bit of Hangin' with Mr. Cooper on Nick at Nite! Yay! So glad to see it there. I haven't seen the opening theme song though, so I will have to try to get up early to catch it and see what you all are talking about with the theme song. (Either that or try to set my VCR to record it- but I just haven't worried about it. Though I wouldn't getting the second episode recorded if possible because I believe that's the one that features a crossover appearance by Uncle Jesse and Michelle from "Full House".):)
Also, if I recall correctly, I think Alan Thicke from "Growing Pains" is on the first episode briefly because the same house is used on Cooper's show. (I can't recall if he's actually in character as Dr. Jason Seaver though- but I'd definitely like to see that too.)
