AB 01-10-2014, 05:05 PM Is that the one that makes 1 cup of coffee at a time using those little individual round packs of coffee? If so, I'd thought about getting one but didn't know how well they worked or how expensive the coffee packs might be. treky 01-10-2014, 09:11 PM yes it is-they're called K-CUPS and they cost about $10 for a box of 12. (I find though that they're cheaper on-line) And you have to use filtered water, not tap water; but that's no big deal, just by a Brita water filter and pitcher. RoryGilmore 01-11-2014, 02:02 PM I love mine the K cup I use is $10 for 16. I've saved so much on Starbucks Penny Lane 01-11-2014, 02:13 PM My daughter got the 1 cup model for Christmas. She loves it!:) Janice 01-11-2014, 04:23 PM I'm usually one to buy whatever I want, whatever the cost. Still, I was about a minute away from buying one. I went to Bed Bath & Beyond with my 20% off coupon. It wasn't the initial cost of the machine that changed my mind. My friend and I stood there in the store and crunched the numbers. I forget exactly what it was, but I just couldn't justify paying triple or more the amount for a cup of coffee. I make a pot of coffee for us every morning. He has one cup, while I have one to two. I use Folger's coffee with cream and sugar, and it tastes great. Anyone who knows me that I'm as far from cheap as they come, but I just can't pull the trigger on this item. treky 01-11-2014, 04:34 PM yea, they are expensive, they have one at my p.t. place and my p.t. said it cost them $125. I've been wanting one for us but my brother (he handles the money for both of us-and pays my bills. He's the "unsung hero" of our family! Anyway-) he said we couldn't really afford one right now. Then our mother bought us one for Christmas. KJH278 01-12-2014, 02:47 AM yes it is-they're called K-CUPS and they cost about $10 for a box of 12. Why can't you use tap water treky 01-12-2014, 03:04 AM I don't know. |
