Earlier this week, via Facebook, Kirk Cameron announced that he has a new movie coming out called "Mercy Rule," a Christian-themed Baseball film.

Attached to this post is the movie Poster, brought to you by Kirk's Facebook, as proof.

Yep- I saw that. Looks pretty cool. Even though baseball isn't my favorite sport, I love a number of baseball movies- I'm sure this will be a good one. It will be nice to see Kirk Cameron acting in a movie again.

His wife, Chelsea, is in the movie too. I see she's now using her married name apparently- you can just make out Chelsea Cameron on the movie poster. Interesting- I'm so used to seeing Chelsea Noble, but that's cool if she wants to use her married name instead now. Or she could do a combo deal- Chelsea Noble Cameron.
(This reminded me of Kirk's sister, Candace- for so many years I've been used to seeing her name as Candace Cameron- but now I've gotten used to seeing her married name in the mix too- Candace Cameron Bure.)

Oh yeah- and Christian comedian Tim Hawkins will be in it! He's something akin to a Christian-themed Weird Al Yankovic- he has some pretty funny songs and routines. I'm sure his presence in the movie will add a lot of fun and humor. I'm interested to see it if I get a chance.
