I always liked the Full House set minus the entire upstairs(the girls room, the bathroom, Jesse's old room and Danny's room). The attic(Jesse and Rebecca's) was awesome though. I've NEVER seen an attic look that nice but then again, that's TV for you! It's amazing what can be done on sitcoms--especially the fact that they ALWAYS had room for more! I'm surprised Kimmy and Steve didn't move in!haha

And the Cosby show set was pretty nice too.

I liked the Full House house too, but after awhile, I got preoccupied with the fact that the inside of the house could not have matched the house they showed at the beginning of the episodes. The windows were on the wrong side, the upstairs was facing the wrong way.... And why was it that no matter if one went up the stairs in the living room or the stairs in the kitchen, they ended up in the same spot?

I ALWAYS LIKED THE MAMA'S FAMILY HOUSE. IT IS SO COZY! AND ROSEANNE'S HOUSE BECAUSE THE INTERIOR MATCHES UP WITH THE EXTERIOR PICTURE! THAT'S A RARE THING ON TV ISN'T IT?

I ALSO LOVE THE STRATFORD INN ON NEWHART!

YES, THE BRADY HOUSE IS "GROOVY" BUT AS I STATED BEFORE, THIS IS ONE OF THOSE HOUSES THAT DOESN'T MATCH UP THE INTERIOR WITH THE EXTERIOR! THAT ALWAYS BUGGED ME.BY THE WAY, THAT IS MY DAUGHTER'S DREAMHOUSE ALSO!

I got to agree with MARFAR104, the Mam's Family house was so cozy as a matter of fact the how show was like the house it gave me at least a cozy feeling like Raytown was an Anywhere,USA type of town,I Loved That Show.

The Stratton house on "Silver Spoons". Back then, i just loved video games, but my mom wouldn't buy me an Atari, and video games were illegal in the suburb where we lived, so I hardly ever got to play any.

Let's see...coolest sitcom houses..

I like a lot of the big houses from some 50's shows, like Leave it to Beaver and Father Knows Best..

The Brady House was cool, of course

But I'm a little surprised no one mentioned the homes of the Munsters or the Addams Family...Now THOSE were cool houses!

Homes in 80s sitcoms don't really seem to have much to distinguish one from another, other than the people who live in them...the Munsters and Addams Family homes were DIFFERENT

This is a tuff ? because it hard for me to choose!! The best TV home of all time's belonged to the Lubbocks!! (Just the 10 of us)!! Not only would i have loved to live in it but it was paid for by St. Augustine's school!! cool deal!! And number two I think would have to be Inn on Newhart becasue I just love New England and I love to ski!!

Ive noticed that in Full house and Family matters, they use the same apartment setting. Steves apartment, Gia's apartment, and Steph's dance teachers apartment were all the same. This apartment was also used in Family matters in a couple of eps, like when eddie and steve moved in together(i think)

Veronica Chase's house on "Veronica's Closet." It's well decorated, classy, and swanky.

My favorite is the Munsters'! The downstairs matched the exterior for the most part. The upstairs usually didn't though. The location of Grandpa's room, the guest room and Marilyn's room switched around. Herman and Lily's room was always in the same place. Once they claimed the window in Eddie's room was the middle one on the front, but that's not really possible since Eddie's room always seems to face the back of the house.

Those wacky Munsters!

Joe

PS. The Munsters Today house interior is entirely wrong, even though for exterior they use a model of the original Munster house.
