The Flint, MI area where I live had 16.8" of snow over the weekend. This hasn't happened here in decades! Our last big snowfall was in December 2000. We had 12 ". Today the wind is blowing and drifting is going to be a huge problem! Those who were affected by this weekend storm; What did you get? Keep Warm!

We only had a very light dusting of snow over top some freezing rain last night. It's around 16 degrees here, that's pretty cold for our area. I feel for you guys up north & in the mid-west who are dealing with the snow & the below 0 temps.

Wow that's a lot of snow!

Somehow I dealt with snow when I was little. Now I don't think I could handle it.

I was shoveling a foot of snow from my driveway when it was 10 below zero, my right hand started hurting then went numb. I took off my gloves when I got in the house and noticed the tips of my fingers were black, I thought " Uh Oh " I held them under the sink and the black washed off. It was just dye from the gloves.

Scary! My jeep has four wheel drive, so I just totally avoided shoveling today. LOL

It got down to -16.8 last night.(very unusual for us!) But today the sun is shining and it is now -1. It's supposed to warm up into the 30's this weekend. Our roads have been plowed and it's still slippery but not hazardous if you know how to drive on slick pavement. :D

No one living anywhere in Los Angeles can expect any snow. The last time it snowed in L.A. was in around 1962.

Key West, Florida is supposed to be the only city in the Continental US (Alaska and Hawaii notwithstanding) that has NEVER experienced freezing temperatures!

Yes, two of Hawaii's Islands (Hawaii and Maui) have experienced snow!
