I'm posting this message to let everyone know I accomplished a goal I set in November.

:bouncers I'M a Two Percenter!!! :bouncers

On November 26 I weighed 241 Pounds, Today I stepped on the scales at my Local Grocery Store and I discovered I weigh 237 Pounds! My South Beach All-Soup Diet WORKED!

I'm still warming up, my resolution is to lose AT LEAST another 38 Pounds by the Fourth of July (I weighed 288 Pounds this past July 4th). I still intend to have Soup for my diet on Monday through Thursday, and have solid foods Friday to Sunday. I'm not saying I've achieved perfection, but I have a System, and it works.

OH Nuts!

Dieting the way you do would drive me crazy but it works for you. And like the saying goes, "If it works, don 't fix it."

I lost about 40 lbs. doing Weight Watchers but I enjoy variety for each meal. (I basically cut WAY DOWN on junk foods and ate as much protein and fresh vegetables as I needed to feel satisfied (not stuffed.) and occasionally fresh fruit. I drank all the zero calorie beverages I wanted too.)

That's great news. Losing weight is difficult. Over the years, I've had to give up various things, for good or temporarily ; smoking, alcohol, sex, shopping, etc. I think that food is by far the most difficult thing to cut back on.

Food is everywhere we go, at every social event. Food is part of our everyday life. There's just no escaping it. There's nothing worse than feeling hungry and watching commercial after commercial showing delicious food.

Keep up the good work. I'm sure you know how hard it is to keep it off; over 80% of dieters regain the weight. It's awful, all that hard work. :( That won't be you. New year, new you. Congratulations!

Considering your height, you still have a bit of weight to lose. You are off to a great start and I wish you lots of luck! :)

Thank You. Today I am celebrating The Feast of the Kings. In some countries (Particularly those nations south of the US), this day is bigger than Christmas itself! Some Churches call this day "The Twelfth Day of Christmas". For me, it's one Final Hurrah, I play my Christmas CDs one final time, I Toast The Holidays with an Adult Beverage. At midnight the Christmas Lights (Both the Tree and the Outside) are turned off. Tomorrow is Dismantling Day. :(

I've lost 51 Pounds since July 4, If I don't make it below 200 pounds by the end of the year (I'll try for this goal by July 4th) my name is MUDD!:angryfire

Yes Janice, I confess I've lost weight on Diets before (In 2007 I got down to 209 Pounds, but I "Fell off the Wagon" and got back to weighing 288 Lbs. My biggest mistake was putting my larger clothes in storage. This time my larger clothes will be donated to Goodwill and The Salvation Army. Once I've reached my Target, from that point on if those clothes get "Tight" it's back to the all-soup diet again until the clothes feel loose.

BTW the "Two Percenter" refers to the Number of People who manage to lose weight during the Period between :turkey: Thanksgiving :candle: and  New Year's Day :bluesbros:. Eight Percent break even and as for the remainder, I don't think I need to say what they did. :D
